Empa-Roboter liefert groessten offenen Datensatz für Batterieforschung

Aurora: Neuer Standard für Batteriedaten

Empa und internationale Partner haben den bislang groessten offenen Batterie-Datensatz im neuen Battery Data Format (BDF) veroeffentlicht. Die Daten stammen aus vollautomatisierten Experimenten mit der Aurora-Roboterplattform, die Empa gemeinsam mit Chemspeed Technologies entwickelt hat. Aurora ermoeglicht praezise Lade- und Entladezyklen von 199 Knopfzellen über mehr als 1000 Zyklen unter streng kontrollierten Bedingungen. Die Veroeffentlichung folgt den FAIR-Datenprinzipien und soll die weltweite Batterieforschung beschleunigen.
